Michael takes a stab at trying to find out why so the reaction to the parties that took place at Kitacon III in 2011 was so different from the previous years and thinks that we are on the cusp of change and he’s not sure he likes what he’s found.
The qualifiers for this event will be held at events around Europe with the two spots for the UK to be battled for at the upcoming May MCM London Expo and Ayacon 2011 in August.

Student documentary “Surviving Kitacon” will be screened one last time at Kitacon III in April.
Following the terrible natural disaster in Japan last week with an official death toll of 18,000 and rising following a earthquake and tsunami which hit the eastern coastal region of the country, people all over the world have been helping in any way they could. If you are attending Kitacon in three weeks please consider spending some money in the charity auction this year as all proceeds go towards the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal.
